When such events are ongoing some people zap onto those channels to watch that and some of course would stay for their series... Point is, they wouldnt have as many as usual during these events. end of story :p

it has jumped the shark after 5th season (they killed the fuckin devil for fucks sake). yes there are occasional good episodes but mostly it's series of asspulls and low quality load of crap. i mean the prometheus, the mutant genes(yeah i know they aren't mutant but still), the hydra nazis & golems, and what's with this gamer chick thing does carver have a thing for her or something? and their lore is all over the place i won't be surprised if they bring the orcs for next seasons main bad guys. seriously someone has to put this show out of it's misery.

 I have a other thought of how Sam was when Dean was gone maybe Sam was about to commit suicide and then he hit the dog or he blacked out by the new angels like Naomi just like she did to Castiel cause that could be what Sam meant to Amelia in a flashback saying "Amelia You Saved Me" in (8x09) so could it be possible that Sam was gonna kill himself and that's why he hit the dog?
