The Revisited team review the adventures in space and time of the fifth Doctor, played by Peter Davison, who brought a brand new take on our favorite Time Lord as the show adjusted to the 1980s. Contributors, including Davison and companions Sarah Sutton and Mark Strickson, consider the return of old foes the Master and the Cybermen, and the show's 20th anniversary celebrations.
BBC America did something horrible to "Tomb of the Cybermen" and "Spearhead from Space" when they aired the 2nd and 3rd Doctor specials: They stretched them out and made them widescreen using a weird, nauseating non-standard stretch method. Because there was more stretch on the edges of the screen than in the middle, you couldn't use your re-size button on your TV remote to fix it. It was like try to watch these classic episodes in a nasty, vomit-inducing funhouse mirror. BBC America needs to STOP THIS twisted mutilation of the classic show and show in 4:3 like they did with the 1st Doctor! Can you please ask them why they are doing this sickening garbage and ask them to STOP IT?!
